“The gin tour was great. Not only did we have a very interesting tour of the distillery with our guide Morgan, but started our visit with a lovely cocktail. Following the tour we had four spirits, four mixers and an array of fruit to garnish the cocktails we made up. An excellent experience. We walked there and back, recommended with all the alcohol.”

Informative, Fun and Great Service

“I was an Attendee as a volunteer for the Charity Staffordshire Sight Loss Association, the distillery tour was very infortmative and all questions were answered, service from all was very good and the experience was fun. All accessabilty needs were met for all of the group and everyone was taken care of exceptionally well. A big thank you to Owen and the rest of the Six Towns Bar Distillery Crew!”

“A group of 10 of us attended on Saturday 25th October. Nice place with a good atmosphere. we had the gin tour and tasting, led by Morgan. he was very knowledgable and happy to answer all our questions. All in the party enjoyed the occasion and would recommend to others.”

Distillery Tour

“Recently experienced (12th Oct) distillery tour at Sixtowns as a gift. The premises are well appointed and feeling of a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly when we arrived and given a welcome drink The tour was split into 2 parts, a tour of the distillery and tasting. The distillery tour was script driven (new guide Morgan) so little deviation or personal touches. Ability to answer outside script was limited. The tasting consisted of 4 products, dry gin, pink gin, vodka and rum all of which were tasteful and of excellent quality. However, other than limited written information on perfect serves little other guidance was given. Other tours we have done have always provided tasting notes to enhance the experience. Given the unique position of Sixtowns owners producing distillery equipment, they could have provided more insight into the company and gin making that others cannot. This could be a substitute for other areas they are not focusing on.”

Best Distillery Tour and Tasting We've Done

“The tour of the gin distillery was excellent. We have done several distillery tours and we found this one the best one we've done. Not only did we learn about the process but also about the history behind gin. Torin, our tour guide, was really good and really knew his stuff. He made the tour very interesting and entertaining. We started with a cocktail using their product and the tasting experience after the tour was second to none. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Six Towns Distillery for an excellent afternoon.”

“The gin distillery tour and tasting experience far outweighed our expectations! What a truly wonderful afternoon, from start to finish 🍸 We enjoyed a refreshing welcome cocktail before undertaking the tour. Our tour guide, Torin, was extremely informative and added humour too, as he explained the history/origins, etc, making the tour exceptional 😃 We were met with such a professional set-up after the tour itself - again above and beyond! A selection of spirits, mixers, fruits, etc, all presented beautifully, which we enjoyed in the comfort of the bar area. Thank you, Six Towns, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - we will definitely be returning!”

Great Distillery Tour experience- Excellent Value for Money!

“Brought my mum the Sixtowns distillery tour experience for her birthday. It was a great afternoon. Torin was our tour guide- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Torin explained the history of gin and guided us around the small family run distillery. It was excellent value for money. We received a lovely, refreshing vodka based long drink on arrival. After the distillery tour we had a drinks tasting with X4 single measures of London dry gin, pink gin, vodka and spiced rum along with the suggested mixers. We also received 10% off the shop so we purchased a bottle of pink gin as it was so delicious. I would 100% recommend going on this tour, we purchased the tickets through buy a gift- such fantastic value! One bit of a feedback I would give is perhaps having the option of the nominated driver recieving a small miniature to take home rather than the drinks tasting as unfortunately I was unable to have mine as I had to drive us home. I've seen this on other gin distillery experiences and this has been received positively. Also, it would be nice to purchase miniatures and mixers that Sixtown recommend with the drinks. Lovely afternoon, thank you!”

Amazing venue for a B2B event

“We booked SIXTOWNS for an evening business event and received lots of great feedback from all that attended. The staff on the evening were very friendly and attentive and the charcuterie boards on offer went down a storm with our guests. Overall the atmosphere, staff, food and gin were very well received by all that attended!”

“Given a voucher for Christmas for the Gin Tour Experience. Wow..what a fab afternoon we had!! The afternoon started with a welcome cocktail. Then we had a tour of the distillery with Torin, who was so knowledgeable and lovely with it too! Then back to the front of house where we had several gins to sample, along with suggested mixers and garnishes. Overall such an enjoyable afternoon..drinking gin! Whats not to love?! Was so impressed we also purchased a voucher so that we can make our own gin in the lab at a later date!!”

Birthday Gin Treat

“My visit to Sixtowns was a birthday gift from friends - and an excellent fit it turned out to be. Torin talked to us about the history and making of gin which was very interesting and very amusing at times. He was extremely knowledgeable and certainly knew his stuff! After the talk there was the opportunity to sample two gins, vodka and spiced rum. The London Dry gin was my stand out favourite but the others were very good. Of course, I had to buy some gin - who could resist such a beautiful shaped bottle? A wonderful day out which I would highly recommend.”

Fantastic setting for a relaxing drink

“Excellent environment for a few cocktails. The atmosphere here is spot on — relaxed but with a really lovely vibe that makes it perfect whether you’re catching up with friends, on a date, or just unwinding after work. The setting is stylish and well thought-out, with plenty of comfortable seating and attention to detail that gives it a welcoming feel. The cocktail menu has a great selection, and everything we tried was well presented and balanced — clearly made with care. The staff deserve a special mention: genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about making sure guests enjoy themselves. It’s one of those places that feels effortlessly well run and properly set up, which makes a big difference. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend and will be returning to again.”

“Torin took us on a factory tour and he was outstanding. We have been lucky enough to have tours in factories and distilleries around the world and this was the best. Informative, funny and local. And by the way, we also drank gin!”

“My husband and I visited your venue recently for a comedy night, and we were really impressed from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was great, and as we made our way through to the bar, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table for the evening. It was a lovely surprise to have table service, and we found all the staff to be attentive and friendly—service was excellent throughout the night. I do have one suggestion, though, regarding the toilet facilities. As a woman, I personally don’t feel comfortable sharing unisex bathrooms, particularly when they haven’t been left in a clean state. When I went to use the facilities, both toilets had the seats up and visible urine stains, suggesting they had just been used by men. This was quite off-putting. It would be great if you could consider either designating separate male and female facilities or ensuring more frequent checks and cleaning during events. Aside from that, we had a fantastic evening and would definitely return!”

“Lovely tour and gin Timing were not clear and we informed them we had further booking at wedgewood. We had to rush the tasting as it was not clear that the tasting was after the tour . Desperate to sit down during the tour 30 mins long time to stand . Gin Lovely”

Cocktail Masterclass

“Had a great evening at the cocktail masterclass , we were greeted with a welcome cocktail upon arrival which was delicious Torin our host for the evening was both knowledgeable and emgaging throughout the session, we both made 3 cocktails of our own choosing under the watchful eye and expert guidance of Torin . The whole experience was lots of fun and laid back and not to mention great value for money , both Torin and Molly were a credit to Sixtowns and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the experience to others”
