Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities
- Cold calling prospects to generate face to face meetings
- Build and develop a strong pipeline
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management

Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales role or customer centric role.
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
- Ability to build a strong pipeline
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good reporting skills
- Monday to Friday

We are now searching for a driven, experienced, and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our team and deliver the high standards we are known for.

You’ll be involved in bar service, stock control, staffing, events, and customer experience.

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure exceptional service at all times
• Support, train, and motivate team members to meet performance goals
• Ensure all health & safety and licensing standards are maintained
• Coordinate with the General Manager on rotas, bookings, and staffing
• Help plan and execute bar events, private hires, and promotions
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and supplier relationships
• Handle cashing up, till reports, and financial reconciliation
• Act as a lead point of contact for customer concerns or feedback

Proven experience in hospitality management (Assistant Manager or similar)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Passion for premium drinks, spirits, and mixology
• Experience in stock control, ordering, and cash handling
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Knowledge of health & safety, licensing laws, and bar regulations

Based at the World of Wedgwood, you’ll welcome guests into our Distillery & Bar and lead tours, tastings, and hands-on experiences — including our brand-new Gin School, where customers create their very own spirit to take home.

We’ll train you in all things SIXTOWNS and spirits — you’ll bring the personality, people skills, and storytelling magic that make guests remember their visit.
